An edit to this memorial was submitted by bdowney@aotw.org on 2/3/2019 and it reads: Enlisted on 3/22/2862 as a Private. On 3/22/1862, he mustered into "F" Co. GA 50th infantry. Wounded 9/17/1862 Sharpsburg, MD. He died of wounds on 9/23/1862 at Frederick, MD.
The other man mentioned, Pvt Thomas F. Millis, 18th NC Inf, is, I believe, buried at Mt Olivet as S.F. Miller. Captured at Fredrick on 13 Sept, died of typhoid fever in Frederick on 15 Sept, 1862.
