Rodney Lee Alban, 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lee Alban, New Oxford R.1, died Wednesday morning at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore as a result of injuries he sustained in a one-car accident.
In addition to his parents, Norman Lee and Dorothy E. (Shaeffer) Alban, he is survived by a sister, Vistoria, at home; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lulu Alban of Hanover; maternal grandfather, Leonard Shaeffer of Biglerville.
A senior at New Oxford High School, Alban was a member of the Harvest Time Temple Sunday School, Black Rock Road and employed part time at the Hess Service Center.
Funeral services held at the Wetzel Funeral Home, with the Rev. Fred Mummert officiating. Interment will be in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery.
