Lula Belle Hale was the daughter of William Thomas Hale and Sally Johnson. See her obit below. William died young and is buried at Forest Ridge. She is the granddaughter of George Hale and is listed in his will.
Lula's first marriage was to John Franklin Royston, six children: Alice Mae, Grace E., Addie Pearl, John W., Walter E., and Melva R, Royston.
Second marriage was to Amos B. Armacost, one child: Margaret Armacost.

Obituaries
• Lula B. Armacost, 97, of Towson,
died Saturday at Longreen Nursing
Home.
Born in Maryland, she was the
daughter of Thomas Hale and Sally
Johnson Hale. She was the wife of
the late John F. Royston and Amos
B. Armacost.
Surviving are daughters Alice R.
Buchman of Towson and Melva R.
Martin of Fairfield, Pa.; son John W.
Royston of Harrisburg, Pa.; nine
grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren
and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m.
Tuesday at Ruck Towson Funeral
Home, Inc., 1050 York Road, Towson.
Interment will be in Salem
United Methodist Church Cemetery,
Upperco.
